Laurence Harley Boles, 84, Brooklyn, died July 16. A retired carpenter, he was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Local 60 for 40 years. He was a past master at Brooklyn Masonic Lodge and a member of Brooklyn Christian Church and the Mooresville Senior Center. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Services: 10 a.m. July 19 in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling from 6 to 9 p.m. July 18. Burial: Brooklyn Cemetery.
He was the widower of Gleda Mae Kinkade Boles.
Survivors: children John K. Boles, Loretta M. Valluzzo, Barbara Sharon Powell; half brother Richard Boles; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
