Fatally Hurt
Funeral arrangements have been completed for a former Mooresville resident, Wendell L. Boyd, age 29, of 805 Dye Road, Kokomo, who was injured fatally in an auto accident in Kokomo just before midnight Monday night.
First admitted to a Kokomo hospital, he was later transferred to the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis where death occurred Tuesday.
His funeral will take place Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Carlisle and Son Chapel at Mooresville, conducted by the Rev. Cryder Brayshaw, pastor of First Christian Church. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery. Calling hours will begin at 7 o'clock this evening.
Mr. Boyd, a native Greene County, was born there Oct. 13, 1940, the son of DuWayne and Doris English Boyd. The family moved to Mooresville where Boyd was graduated from high and then moved to Camby before going to Kokomo a year. ago. He was married on September 18, 1959 to Alyce Rose.
He was a draftsman for Armstrong-Landon Co. in Kokomo and was a member of the Mooresville Christian Church
He leaves his wife, a son and two daughters, Larry, Anita and Teresa, all at home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd of Mooresville. Also surviving are tow sisters, Mrs. Deanie McDaniel and Mrs. Jayne Lee, and his grandmother, Mrs. Viola Boyd, all of Mooresville.
