Betty Catherine Gillmore, 90, of Rochester, IL, died Sunday morning, 23 Jan 2000, at Heritage Nursing Home in Springfield where she had been a patient for only 36 hours. She was born 31 Dec 1909, in Webster Groves, MO, daughter of George Henry and Mary Ann (Guymon)Craig. She was first married to Robert Coyle Hutchinson & divorced. On 10 Oct 1933, she was married second to Ralph Newell Gillmore in Salem, IL. He preceded her in death on 1 June 1995. She is survived by two sons, George Craig Hutchinson, of Phoenix, AZ and Kenneth Riley Gillmore, of Corpus Christi, TX, two daughters, Marilyn Sue Moore of West Palm Beach, FL, and Linda Lee Sichlau of Rochester, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In additon to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Richard Gillmore, a brother, Orval Lee Craig, and two sisters, Rhea Foster and Lillian Graig. Mrs. Gillmore was a member of the Rochester United Methodist Church. Catherine was a proactical nurse and was a successful saleslady for Stanley Home Products, Watkins & Shaklee. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Irvin Funeral Home in Odin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Interment at Deadmond Cemetery in Marion County, IL. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Fund in memory of her son, David, or to the Rochester United Methodist Church.
