Mrs. Ardith M. Damzyn, 55, of 5600 W. Dale Rd., Beaverton, died Sunday, Jan. 3, in the Midland Hospital Center after a long illness. Born in Coleman Feb. 1, 1932, she moved to Gladwin County 20 years ago from Saginaw. The former Ardith Grant, she was married to John Damzyn May 3, 1952, in Saginaw.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Daniel of Beaverton and David of Gladwin; 2 daughters, Diana Searson of Flint and Debra Sullivan of Palmdale, Calif.; 3 brothers, LeRoy, Ronald and Duane Grant of Beaverton; 4 sisters, Loretta Fischer of Spruce, Joy Karklin of Beaverton, Gladys Dolfi of Detroit and Sarah Fike of Saginaw.
Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel, with the Rev. Donald Dengler officiating. Gladwin County Record dated 01-06/1988 Column - 3 Page - 2
