Mr. Branscome was a produce manager for Food Lion and was an avid bowler with the Tuesday night men's league.
Survivors include his wife, Ada K. Branscome; two daughters, Donna B. Garten and Cheryl Ann Robinson; two stepdaughters, Teresa G. Eaton and Kelly G. Taylor; one sister, Peggy B. Lancaster; three brothers, Harry J., Teddy F. and Daniel D. Branscome; and six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in Peninsula Memorial Park by the Rev. Wade Carrier.
