Alex Heimbigner Dies
Alexander Heimbigner, the nineteen-year-old son of John Heimbigner, passed away at
Edgecliff sanatorium near Spokane Monday of pulmonary tuberculosis. The death came unexpectedly
although it created no surprise among his friends, for he had been a sufferer from the disease
for months and had been quite low for some time past. Mr. Heimbigner took the first train for
Spokane and brought the body home that evening. Funeral services were held at the German Lutheran
church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. John Eichhorn officiating after which burial took place in the
Odessa cemetery. This is the second son of Mr. Heimbigner's family to die of tuberculosis in less
than three years and the sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in the bereavement.
