CHARLEVOIX IS BEREFT OF PIONEER RESIDENT Hugh A. King, Born 62 Years Ago at Ironton, Died January 2.

Hugh Alexander King, 62, died Thursday, January 2, at his Belvedere Avenue home after a lingering illness from heart disease. He was born May 27, 1878 at Ironton, the son of Susan and Asher King. In 1906 he married Florence Bushey who survives him. To this union were born two children, Mary Eleanora, who preceded him in death in 1923, and Floyd of Detroit, who also survives. He operated the old King homestead at Ironton until 1925, and has since made his home in Ironton and Charlevoix. Left to mourn his loss besides the widow and son, are two brothers, Bert King of Ironton, and George Trimble of Cheboygan, also two grandsons. A kind and loyal neighbor, Mr. King will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the See Funeral Home, with Rev. G. R. Parker officiating. Burial was at Brookside cemetery.
