Roger L. Blomberg, 46, a former resident of Olympia, died of natural causes, Friday, Sept. 4, 1987, in the Veterans Administration hospital in Miles City, Mont.

He was born Aug. 3, 1941, to Jack and Sylvia (Wapola) Blomberg in Missoula, Mont. He lived in Olympia from 1944 until 1953, and from 1953 until 1978 he lived in various places in Washington.

Mr. Blomberg served in the United States Army in Germany. From 1978 he owned and operated a second-hand store in Billings, Mont. Before that he was employed by Georgia Pacific Plywood Corp.

Survivors include one son, Bradley, Billings, Mont.; two daughters, Elizabeth Paquette, Jacksonville, Fla., and Tammie Blomberg, Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Victor, Pensacola, Fla., and Ernest, Port Orchard; six sisters, Hazel Wuolu, Oakes, N.D., Elsie Humphries, Richmond, Calif., Violet Fischer, LaGrande, Ore., Helen Miller, St. Paul, Minn., Betty Rogers, Tumwater, and Luella Apaez, Shelton; also, three grandchildren.

At the request of the family there will be no funeral service. Inurnment will be in Olympic Memorial Gardens under the direction of Olympic Funeral Home.
