Greg Howard Angel, 52, passed away Nov. 9, 2015, at home.

He was born on April 29, 1963, in Macon County, to Elizabeth Pruett Spencer and the late James Howard Angel.

Greg served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a security officer at Covenant Village in Gastonia and was formerly employed with the Country Club Market in Lincolnton. Greg was a friend to all and he will be greatly missed.

Greg is survived by his mother and step-father, Elizabeth Pruett Spencer and husband Danny of Lincolnton; sister, Sharon Martin of Dallas; step-sisters, Danna Wilson of Kings Mountain and Bethany Reel of Vale; step-brother, Darin Spencer of Cornelius.

His memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Tim Spencer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Bedford Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
