DALHART - Fred Brown, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rusty Hancock, pastor of Lincoln Street Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born in Perrin and was a farmer and a mechanic. He moved to the Dalhart area in 1941, to California in 1962, and returned to Dalhart in 1982.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Penny Brown; two daughters, Wanda Bevans of Dalhart and Nelda Estes of Clearlake, Calif.; a son, Richard Brown of St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Melvin Brown of Dalhart; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.
