FRANK MARION BARNES

Mr. Frank Marion Barnes, 2120 Saddle Place Colorado Springs CO, died Saturday in a local hospital, he was 62 years old. Born January 5, 1916, in Kansas City MO, to the parents of Ellis Nall Barnes and Myrtle Washington.

Frank, a retired railroad engineer, worked 32 years for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 92 in Denver and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 244 in Colorado Springs.

Survivors include Son: Bruce (Elaine) Barnes, Daughters: Linda (Allen) Higens, Pamela (Marvin) Nickell and Cora Lee Dapp (John) Larew while married to Cora Annabelle Patterson, Barnes, Dapp.
Sisters: Elizabeth Woodhurst-(Newt) Richards, Frances (Ralph) Larrance; Grandchildren: Randy, Erik, Sean, Gus.

A funeral for Mr. Frank M. Barnes will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 5, in the Swan Drawing Room. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence MO.

Frank married Dorothy Knight July 31, 1939 in Cheyenne WY.
