She was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Melrude, Minn., to Edward and Selma (Samuelson) Nelson. She was a member of First Covenant Church and a member of the Covenant Women. She enjoyed various crafts and some upholstery work.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Leonard Hedin, in 1970; her second husband Arnold Anderson, in 1977; brothers William, Algot; parents; sisters Florence Nelson and Frances Nelson.
She is survived by nephews Alger (Patti) Nelson, Arnold (Pam) Nelson, Arvid (Margie) Nelson; niece Alvina (Robert) Powell; step-son, Curt (Alice) Anderson; step-daughters Janice (Richard) Norris, Sharon (Rodney) Schofield; seven step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; several cousins, and special friends Dexter and Joann Larson of Hermantown.
Interment at Union Cemetery, Hermantown.
