Mrs. Edwards died about 6:25 p.m. August 26 as the result of injuries in a two-car collision in Dickens. She was born in Dickens County and had lived here all her life.
She married Clay Edwards on August 23, 1933 in Hollis, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1985. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Doc Edwards, Spur and Max Edwards, Belleville, Illinois; one brother, Jim Wyatt, Spur; two sisters, Christine Hunt, Adair, Oklahoma and Mable Holloway, Spur; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
