Jerry D. Buck of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the age of 75. He was born October 27, 1936 in Williamsville, Missouri to Arvey Earl and Willa Agnes Buck. Jerry graduated from Williamsville High School in 1954, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was married to Novella (Alcorn) Buck in February, 1960.

Jerry lived in Rolla, Missouri for 39 years, and worked for the State of Missouri as a claims supervisor for Job Service. After he retired, he moved to St. Joseph, Missouri to be near family. He was an active member of Turning Point Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed listening to gospel music and vacationing in Branson. He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by wife, Novella Buck; son, Kevin Buck; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Wendell Bronson; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Sarah Bronson. Other survivors include Steve and Linda Buck, Piedmont, Missouri; Nila and Bob Tinker, Fort Worth, Texas, and their families.

Services 10:00 A.M. Friday, Turning Point Church of the Nazarene. Interment Annapolis Lewis Cemetery, Annapolis, Missouri. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial gifts to Turning Point Church of the Nazarene or Hands of Hope Hospice.
