Florence was born to the parents of Henry Parkin Clayton and Matilda Clayton (nee McVeigh). Florence had one sister Elise Maud (nee Clayton) Bettoni. Florence married J Edward Pearce in 1934 in Negaunee, MI. They had two sons. Their first son died at birth. She was survived by her son Edward J (Ed) Pearce, daughter in law Ginger, granddaughters Kristin and Michelle. One Niece Carol Pearson and great nieces Christine, Connie and Charla. Aunty Florence was a loving, caring person. She was a great cook.
