She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and was affilated with the Rosary Society, the Sacred Heart League of the Sacred Heart Parish and with the Rosary Society and the Third Order of St. Francis of St. Michael's Church.
Mrs. Angerer was born in Oberpfalz, Bavaria, April 28, 1852, daughter of Adam Braun. At the age of 20 years she came to this country and located permanently in Erie. In 1874, she was married to George Angerer whose death occurred April 18, 1920.
Katherine made candy in her home and sold it as income.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Haller and Mrs. John Burkell; three sons, Theodore, Michael and John Angerer; 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Mrs. Therese Hauser, of this city (Erie, Pa), and a brother, Michael Braun, of Germany.
Church services at Sacred Heart Church and interment at The Trinity Cemetery.
