Ivay Camden, Friday November 27, 2009. Ivay Ray Camden, 1933-2009. PERRYVILLE Ivay Ray Camden, 76, of Parksville died Thursday in Danville. He was the husband of Betty McCoy Camden. Born March 19, 1933 in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Alec and Martha Johnson Camden. Ivay Ray was a retired brick mason for Southern Masonry and former owner and operator of the Shell station in Parksville. He was a member of the Parksville Baptist Church, a Korean War Army veteran. Ivay Ray had many hobbies which included rabbit hunting, knife and gun trading, woodworking and playing the mandolin. But his favorite pastime was fishing. He was also a root digger. In addition to Betty, his wife of 55 years, he is survived by six children, Charles Ray Camden of Mitchellsburg, Ricky Wayne (Susan) Camden of Parksville, Barry Lee (Patricia) Camden of Danville, Ramona Jane (Kenneth) Milburn of Perryville, Deborah Lynn (John) Hambel of Perryville and Charlotte Kaye (Marty) Wilburn of Perryville; a brother, Hiram "Skip" Brewer of Tennessee; 20 grandchildren, Charles Dale (Bobbie Sue) Camden, Betty Jean Camden, Ashley Tate, Heather Camden, Joseph Tyler, Melynda (Mike) Jamison, Jennifer Milburn, Carissa Ingram, Melissa (Johnathan) Camden, Ricky W. Camden, Carrie Hambel, Kristin Hambel, John Hambel II, Alec Camden, Audrey Camden, Zachary Wilburn, Kayla Wilburn, Devin Wilburn, Abi Wilburn and Whitney Wilburn; and eight great-grandchildren, Austin Camden, Chase Camden, Emily Camden, Bradley Camden, Blake Kelley, Brooklyn Combs, Hunter Ingram and Matthew Devine. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Mark Tate, with burial in Parksville Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Honor Guard. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charles Ray, Charles Dale, Ricky Wayne, Ricky and Alec Camden, Devin Wilburn, John Hambel II, Larry Rogers, Bobby Roach and Randy Mayes. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Parksville Baptist Church.
