CARTHAGE - Graveside services for Jennie Holt Ballard, 85, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Rehobeth Cemetery with the Rev. Jack McMahon of Rehobeth Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Ballard died June 30, 2009.
Born April 12, 1924, in Buncomb, just outside Carthage, she clerked in the Panola County Courthouse for 20 years and after "retirement joined the Walmart team as a greeter for almost 15 years. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Ballard Spagnolo and Elaine Ballard Ross; and siblings, Faye Holt Corday and the Rev. W.A. Holt.
