Ruby E. Allen, 86, English, died Wednesday, May 12th, at Orange County Hospital in Paoli. A Native of Crawford County, born August 10th, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Della Grimes Gilliott. She retired from the old Cornwell Co. in Paoli and was a member of Highfill Chapel General Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Thelmer Allen; two sons, Larry Allen of Taswell and Garry Allen of English; five daughters, Donnis Payton of Prescott, Wisc., Barbara Blevins of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Margaret Goldman, Linda Owens and and Carolyn Kay Byrd, all of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Burial in Highfill Chapel Cemetery.
