Pinkney Carroll Froneberger, III GASTONIA - Mr. Pinkney Carroll Froneberger, III, 52, of Baarn, The Netherlands, died Sunday June 7, 2015, in Bad Soden, Germany of cancer. He was born May 6, 1963 in Gastonia, NC, the son of Phylliss Sherrill Froneberger and Pinkney Carroll Froneberger, Jr., of Gastonia. PC was the owner and founder of ICTB-International Communications -Training for Business. His clients, from across Europe, ranged from management trainees to members of the boards of Europe's leading companies. Residing in Europe for 30 years, he spent much time in Germany and Switzerland, training and enjoying the opportunities to experience Europe as a long term expat. PC attended Ashbrook High School, Gastonia, NC and received his Communication and Political Studies degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Martin Gindler, of Munich, Germany and his daughter, Anna Froneberger of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Froneberger Siarris, of Spartanburg, SC, and his fiance Silja Faust of Konigstein, Germany. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, in Konigstein-Falkenstein, Germany, according to his wishes. A memorial service for Pinkney's many American family members and friends will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Gastonia, NC, officiated by Rev. Braxton East. The family will receive friends in the church parlor from 2:30pm to 4:00pm prior to the service.
