Abbie Sharp was born in Greenwood County August 23, 1884 and died August 27, 1912 at the age of 28 years, and 4 days. She became the wife of Thomas J. Daly on April 10, 1899. She leaves to mourn her death the husband, and four children, the youngest a babe of three weeks, father, brothers, and sisters, besides many friends. She had lived nearly all her life in the vicinity of her birth and death. She was a splendid woman and labored hard to make and have. Funeral services were conducted Rev. J. H. Oliver last Thursday at the Daly home on Dry creek, six miles north of Toronto. Burial took place in the Toronto west side cemetery Thursday afternoon.
