HAMILTON - The funeral for Edward W. Crouch, who died Wednesday at his home in Hamilton, will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Hartford Christian Church.Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery, The Rev. Steven Evans will conduct the services.
Jones Funeral Home of Lebo is in charge of arrangement.
Mr. Crouch was a retired farmer who lived near Strawn for many years before moving to Hamilton 20 years ago. He was born at Burlington, Dec 16, 1893, the son of Marion and Cora Smith Crouch. He married Hattie Watts on April 22, 1914, at Burlington, and she survives. Other survivors are two sons, Lester Crouch of Yarmouth, Iowa, and Wilbur Crouch of Hartford; a daughter, Genevieve Verlin of Neosho Rapids; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-granchildren; one brother, Ernest Crouch of Burlington; four sisters, Ruby Watts of El Dorado, Grace Wood and Viola Ralston of Wichita, and Anna Watts of Quincy; six half-brothers, William, Marion and Elmer Crouch of Hartford; Albert Crouch of Burlington, Robert Crouch of Carbondal and Lawrence Crouch of Wichita, and four half-sister, Dorothy McElroy in Oregon, Bertha Halstead and Alta
Clark of Wichita, and Edna Crouch of Hartford.
Mr. Crouch was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows at Hartford.
