Daughter of John W. & Susan King. She married James M. Davis on 31 Oct 1877, Brunswick, VA. He was the son of James W. & Ann Davis. In 1880 they lived in the Darvills District, Dinwiddie County, Va with their son Willie.

"This family cemetery was located south of Lake Road and east of Pelham Road in the controlled access danger area of Fort Pickett. It is marked as "relocated" on Tract H-283
owned by Josie May Coleman et al. in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). It is also included in Godburn's list of cemeteries moved to Butterwood Church where 5 individuals: Rosa King Davis, James Monroe Davis, Monroe Ross Davis, Susann G. King, Infant of Gordon Davis are listed (Godburn 1977: G-6)."
