Larry Paul Burgett
Larry Paul Burgett of Unionville passed away at IU Health Hospice on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015.
He was born June 19, 1951, in Franklin, to Paul Edwin and Mary Huffman Burgett.
Larry was a graduate of Whiteland Community High School and was a retired air traffic controller.
He was a member of Rocklane Christian Church of Greenwood.
Larry is survived by his wife, Rita Chitwood Burgett; three children, Kelly Jean Commons of Unionville, Brady James McClary of Naperville, Illinois, and Joshua Paul (Jessica) McClary of Farmington, Michigan; a daughter-in-law, Sara Diane McClary of Naperville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Cameron, Audrey, Ben and Jack McClary; a sister, Debbie (Tom) Everman, and her son, Brian Barnes; and five nieces and nephews, Christy and Mike McKennon, Bonnie Savage, and Winfred and Mandy Chitwood.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law, Charles R. Commons.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, with Pastor Jim Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Chitwood Cemetery in Unionville.
