Services were Dec. 22 in Moore-Howard Chapel. Internment was in Hampden Memorial Gardens.
She was born June 22, 1920 in Wheat Ridge to Frederick H Talbott and Hazel Elmira Crowfoot Talbott. On March 27, 1939, She married Dale Howard Birkby in Edgewater.
Mrs. Birkby worked for the Denver Public Schools kitchen staff for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Dale; two sons, Dale and Kenneth of Denver; one daughter, Patricia Moewes of Lakewood; one brother; one half-brother; one step-brother; two half-sisters; three step-sisters; and four grandchildren.
