Ronald Connor, 70, of Navarre, Fla., died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011.
Mr. Connor was a native of Keansburg, N.J., but had resided in the area since 2002, coming here from Westerville, Ohio. Mr. Connor was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church and served as Head Trustee of the Holley-Navarre Elks Lodge 2787. He was retired with 31 years of service as a regional sales manager with Alcatel Networks Systems.
Mr. Connor is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joanne Connor; son, U.S. Navy Lt. Craig (Silvia) Connor; daughter, Paige Connor; and brothers, Dennis (Barbara) Connor and Richard (Roseann) Connor.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church with Father John Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holley-Navarre Elks Lodge 2787, 2002 Elks Way, Navarre, FL 32566; or the American Cancer Society, 5401 Corporate Woods Drive, Suite 100, Pensacola, FL 32504.
Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
