Services for Charles D. Hare, 69, of 3405 Circle Ave., Reiffton, who died yesterday in the Reading Hospital, where he was a patient for one day, will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The Rev. Sherwood L. Dieter will officiate in the Gibson & Sanders Funeral Home. Burial will be made in Laureldale Cemetery.
Born in Hamburg, he was a son of the late Samuel and Laura (Smith) Hare. Hare had been employed as a consultant by the Beltone Hearing Service.
He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Stony Creek Mills; Chandler Lodge 227, F. & A. M.; Neversink Forest, Tall Ceders of Lebanon; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Reading; Rajah Temple, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, and the Rajah Temple String Band.
Surviving are his widow, Helen D. (Wentzel) Hare; a son, Donald C., Skippack, and two granddaughters.
