Mrs. Glenn Brown of Jackson Route 4, died Wednesday night at 11:15 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, where she had been a patient for a week, she was 56 years old. Mrs. Brown, the former Miss Norma Stueve, was born May 11, 1922, in Jackson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stueve. She was baptized and confirmed at St John's Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, where she was a lifelong member. On June 23, 1940, she was married to Mr. Brown. They operated the Stueve farm and were engaged in the dairy business for a number of years. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, the Misses Mariline Jean and Pauline Jane Brown of the family home, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother. The body is at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson and will be taken to the St. John's Lutheran Church at 1 Saturday afternoon. Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Jim Wilson, Pastor. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John E. Brown Jr., David Meyr, John Stueve, Steve Nebel, Dale Leimbach, and Ed Brunke. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 Friday afternoon.
