Edith was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Archer and Rena M Makemson. She married Clayton Leroy Quine in June 1915. They lived on farm where Clayton was raised East of Dutchtown. There were four children: Dorothy, Donald, Marjorie and Frderick.

Mrs Clayton (Edith A) Quine 61, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday at her home
at 423 West Fort Wayne Street of cerebral hemorrhage. She had been in
ill health for the past 20 years.

Born in Warsaw, Jan 29, 1893, the daughter of Thomas And Rena (Makemson)
Archer, Mrs Quine has resided in the Warsaw community all of her life. In 1915
she married Clayton Quine in Warsaw. She was a member of the Warsaw
Methodist Church and the women's Relief Corps.

Survivors include the husband, two sons, Donald and Fred of Warsaw; two
daughters Mrs Ordie Miller of Elkhart and Mrs Carlon Will of Michigan City; six
grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Archer of Bellevue, Ohio.
