Birth: May 25, 1887
Warren County
Indiana, USA
Death: Aug. 4, 1944
Fountain County
Indiana, USA

The body of Jasper Creamer,57,was found Monday afternoon in a badly decomposed state near the Wabash Railroad company water tank near the Attica railroad station. It was only by his clothing and some articles he carried that he was able to be identified. The discovery was made by George Boutwell, who was hunting for some stray hogs. County Coroner Wisher Myers was called to hold an inquest and came to the conclusion that Creamer met his death evidently as a result from a fall from the Wabash railroad bridge.

Creamer was employed as a farm hand and had been lately engaged in helping farmers thrash grain. He made his home with his mother, Mrs. Etta Creamer, Williamsport, Route 1.

Jasper Lee Creamer, son of Augustus and Etta (Gray) was born near Carbondale in Warren County, May 25,1887, and died August 4, 1944 at the age of fifty-seven years, two months, and nine days.

He is survived by the mother, two sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Hillyer, of Williamsport and Mrs. Roy Waugh of Denver, Colorado, and one brother Gussie Creamer, of near Williamsport, preceded in death by father Gus Creamer and brother Ray. There is a good number of other relatives and many friends.

That our loved one must go away is inescapable; but though they depart, yet in a finer sense, they are with us still. Memory's walls are richly hung with the pictures their lives had afforded us. In memory we daily walk with them, hear again their voices
, see their happy faces and feel again the pressure of their handclasp. These cannot be taken from us. They are ours until our own life's scroll shall be rolled up and bound with the tender cords of memory.

The body was removed to the Hamilton funeral home in Williamsport, and burial was held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the cemetery in Rainsville, Rev. Fred Longwell of Williamsport, officiated.
