EMILE BONHAM FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Emile Louis Bonham, 83, a native of France and a resident of the United States, for 66 years, who formerly lived in Biloxi and Vancleave, died in Los Angeles, Calif, Nov. 28.
He was a Spanish American War veteran and a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 11 am from Bradford in Biloxi by the Rev Thomas Carruth. Burial was at the Veterans Administration with Chaplin N.D. Saucier assisting at graveside services. Joe Riley presented the flag to a son, Bennie Bonham.
He is survived by three sons, Emile L., Gautier, Bennie, Terre-Haute, Ind, and Allen Bonham, Vancleave; three daughters; Mesdamnes Celeste Allen, Elise Stagg and Evelyn Rouse, Vancleave and nine grandchildren.
