Leroy Brown, 62, formerly of Gladwin, died March 19 at the hospital in Charlotte. Born June 4, 1903 in Gladwin, he lived here for many years and graduated from Gladwin high school. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Robert Krieghbaum and Mrs. Lee Smith, of Grand Ledge, also nine grandchildren; and a sister, Zella Coffel of Saginaw. His parents, Rufus and Flora Brown, a sister, Mrs. Vernie Demaray, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held March 23 at the Peters and Murray Funeral Home in Grand Ledge and burial was in Highland Cemetery, Gladwin. Gladwin County Record dated 04-06/1966 Column - 1 Page - 6
