Mrs. Guy Knapenberger, one of the Era's veteran correspondents, has been sending news items from Limestone since 1936. She was born In Limestone and is the daughter of pioneer residents in valley. Mr. Knapenberger is employed in the Derrick City area for the Bradford Petroleum Co. They have five children: four daughters. Mrs. Harold Kysor, Jamestown: Mrs., Gerald Bushey, Killbuck; Mrs. Jack Scheffer,
Bolivar Kun Road: Mrs. Lee Kobtila-. Limestone: and one son. Private Jesse M. Knapenberger. stationed in Kobe, Japan.

Mrs. Enola McKenzie Knapenburger
Mrs. Enola McKenzie Knapenburger, 75, of this community died January 15 in Bradford Hospital. She was born in 1893 at Limestone. She was married to Guy E. Knapenburger at Olean in 1916. The Knapenburgers lived in Bradford until moving to Limestone in 1923.
Mrs. Knapenburger served as the Limestone news correspondent for the Bradford Era for 30 years from 1936 to 1966. She had been employed as a collector of school taxes for Limestone Union Free School District for 32 years.
She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist of Boston, Mass. and of First Church of Christ Seletist of Bradford. She was a charter member of the Limestone PTA and Limestone Demoistation Unit One.
Surviving are four daughters, including Mrs. Kathryn Schaffer of Bradford, a son; 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
The Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel was in charge. Burial was in Limestone Cemetery.
