TOMMY BULL - Thomas Clinton Bull, of Hayden Route, Dixon, was born on April 30, 1910 in Maries County, the son of John Morris and Josephine Blackwell Bull, and departed this life on Monday evening, March 23, 1981, at the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, following an illness of two months. Mr. Bull had attained the age of 70 years, 10 months and 24 days.

Mr. Bull was united in marriage on September 26, 1940, at Vienna, to the former Miss Minnie Louise Eads, and to this union, three sons were born. One son, Richard Dale Bull, preceded his father in death. Mr. Bull was also preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bull, one brother, Clifford Bull, four sisters, Mrs. Alice Stull, Miss Merty Bull, Miss Lucy Bull, Miss Charlsie Bull, and one granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Bull.

In 1950, Mr. Bull accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and was baptized a member of the Baptist Church. For many years, Mr. Bull worked as a laborer in construction work and later was employed by the Brown Shoe Company, Dixon, retiring in 1972, after fifteen years.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Bull include: His wife, Mrs. Minnie L. Bull, Hayden Route, Dixon; two sons, Olen Bull and Elmer Bull, both of Hayden Route, Dixon: one brother, Chester Bull, Ashland, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Noblett, Hardin, Montana; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Bull will indeed be sadly missed by his dear family and all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were conducted for Mr. Bull at 2:00 P.M., on Thursday afternoon, March 26, 1981, at the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with the Rev. James Bailey, High Point Church of God, near Dixon, officiating. Mrs. Hazel Schierbaum sang "Gathering Buds for the Master's Bouquet" and "Precious Memories" for the funeral service and was accompanied by Mrs. Aline Christeson. Interment was in the Kenner Cemetery, near Dixon, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.
Active pallbearers for Mr. Bull were Lindie Daniel, Herschel Martin, Robert Johnson, Louis Slone, Alfred Eads and Joe Blackwell. Honorary Pallbearers were John W. Russell, Frank Minze, Riley Campbell and Wilford Alexander.
