formerly of 40 Woodbury Avenue, Stamford, CT passed away on October 3, 2011 at Hospice House in Auburn, Maine. She was born in New York City, on September 25, 1909. She is survived by two daughters, Lois Gabriel of Connecticut, and Bonnie Schmidt (Tim) of Harrison, Maine. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Michael Gabriel (Jodi), Chris Gabriel (Beth), Scott Schmidt (Jenna), Sherrill Carey (David), Tracey Coyle (David), Tricia Falcone (Terence) and Matt Allred (Jen). She is also Survived by ten great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Wilhelmina Stover of Rhode Island, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Bonnie (Barney), son and daughter-in-law Robert D. and Irene Allred, and grandson Darrell Gabriel. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Fairfield Memorial Park, 230 Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave., Lewiston, ME 04243-0819.
