Services for Miss Dorothy Martha Simpson, 17, were held at the Proffitt Baptist Church officiated by Rev. M.F. Richardson, the pastor and assisted by Rev. J.P. Stevenson, pastor of First Baptist Church in Graham.

Miss Dorothy Martha Simpson lived in Graham for 10 years and then moved with her family to Proffitt in 1932. She was a very popular young lady and attended High School at Newcastle.

Survived by her parents; five brothers - Carl Simpson, Virgil Simpson, Curtis Simpson, Clem Simpson, Robert Simpson; three sisters - Elizabeth Simpson, Frankie Simpson and Lillie Simpson.
