Mrs. Boone Dies at 84.
Mrs. V. Alma Boone, 84, of 1752 S. M St., died Sunday.
She was born in Dodd City, Tex., and lived in Kansas City, Kan., for nearly 40 years before moving to Tacoma in 1942.
She was a member of Allen A.M.E. Church and was a retired file clerk at the former Mt. Rainier Ordnance Depot.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Jessie Walker, of the home; and a brother, Thomas H. Sims, of Tacoma; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by the House of Mortuary.
