Francis Marlin was a very loved young woman.I remember the first time I saw you.You had a red shirt and blue jeans. Those big eyes looked expectantly at me to talk to you but I was too shy.I admired you from afar for years.
Francis went to O'connor High School in Armidale, NSW.Francis was the subject of a book called" I want my own spirit back" written by her mother, Pauline Marlin. It tells of Francis short life and struggle with her addiction to Prescription Medication prescibed by numerous Doctors. They only made her worse and just wanted to be normal again.Just when Francis was winning her battle against drugs and was on her way home, she fell off the XPT train 400 metres north of Mt Colah railway station near Hornsby' Sydney. She was killed instantly. The very train travelled past her home.
She had big sad eyes that reminded one of Ophelia in Hamlet.I remember her as a big Rolling Stones fan,an excellent guitar player and sweet lovely girl who had her whole life ahead of her.I am honoured to make this Bio for you.
