Louis N. Amadio, of Audubon, formerly of Wayne, passed away at home on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006.

He was the husband of the late Dorothy Mazzagatti Amadio.

Born on Nov. 24, 1925, in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Louis Amadio and the late Josephine Lombardi Viscusco Amadio.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, and was the owner fo Louis N. Amadio Masonry in Wayne until his retirement.

He was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Wayne, VFW Post #1564 in Phoenixville, and the Society Italian-American Club in Wayne.

He is survived by his sister, Caroline McLaughlin of Phoenixville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters and two brothers, Nancy Amadio, Josephine Core, Anna Finley, Mary Quay, Dominic Viscusco, Philomena Sardella, Nicholas Visco and Rose Chart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 9:50 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.

Arrangements are being handled by the Delvin-Rosmo-Kepp Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville.
