WILLIE CARLOCK, 81, ROCK SPRING
Willie Frances Cooper Carlock of Rock Spring died Saturday, June 7, at Hutcheson Medical Center.
She was a member of Rock Spring United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy "Bill" Ben Carlock; son William "Ben" Carlock and grandson, Timothy Carlock.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Carlock Smalley of Rock Spring; sons, Fred and Jeff Carlock of Rock Spring; sisters, Bessie Weaver and Bertha McClure of Rock Spring; brother, Vance Cooper of Burning Bush; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were Monday, June 9, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Brian Butler officiating. Burial followed at Rock Spring Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, June 8, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbeares were Greg, Tom and Phillip Carlock, Joey Storey, Daniel Buttran, Don Howard and Alane Lyles. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rock Springs United Methodist Church building fund.
