In memory of Nehemiah Andrews, efq. who departed this life February 3rd, 1800 In the 77th year of his age.

A first settler of Hartland Connecticut among the first communicants. the first Justice of the Peace. In all places and things showing great integrity and uprightnefs, and a highly unblameable life. because of the purity of his heart. the days of his removal were crowned with grief and lamentation.

Also, Mrs. Hannah Andrews his relic shareing with her husband in silent grief the sorrows of abused piety.
