Death of W.J. Grey
Attack of Pneumonia Proves Fatal to Railroad Man, Formerly Resident of This City.
W.J. Grey of Saratoga, eldest son of Mrs. S.T. Grey of 61 Peru street, this city, died in Detroit Tuesday morning, aged about 50 years, his death being due to an attack of pneumonia.
Mr. Grey, whose former home was in this city, had been an employee of the Delaware & Hudson Railway Company for thirty years and had many friends in Plattsburgh who will regret to learn of his death. He was a member of the Order of Railroad Trainmen, belonging to the lodge at Saratoga.
Mr. Grey is survived by his wife and (three) children, his mother, two brothers and a sister.
The body is being brought from Detroit to Saratoga and the funeral announcement will be made later.
