Joseph J. Cousino, 63 of Tustin, Michigan, formerly of this area, died Tuesday at his home.
Friends may called from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov, 12, 2010 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, where funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Lawrence Detruf, pastor of the First Church of God, and V.F.W. Post 1138, Monroe officiated. Burial was private at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rockwood.
Born March 2, 1947 in Monroe, he was the son of Bernard A. and Beatrice C. (Barton) Cousino.
He was employed by the Ford Motor Company, Wayne Assembly Plant for thirty-three years, retiring in 2008.
Surviving are his mother Beatrice C. Cousino of Taylor; son Paul J. (Bridget) Cousino of Tustin; daughters Anne (Rick) Thatcher of Tustin; Lisa (Rob) Austin of Westland and Alexis Criner of Warren; brothers, Vince Cousino of Taylor and Bernard (June) Cousino of Milford; sisters, Diane Cousino of Taylor; Joan (Steve) Griffen of Troy; Barbara (John) Rutz of Ann Arbor; Rose Schones of Dearborn Heights; Mary (Jack) Pio of Newport; Anne (Jimmy) O'Dell of Beacon Falls, CT; Suzanne (Pete) Mack of Dearborn.; grandchildren Matthew, Jonathan, Teneel, Marisa; Dominick, Alyss, Gabriella, Lydia, Adalyne and Scarlett.
He was preceded in death by his father.
