~~~~~~~Linda Frances Scherb Ballance, 61 of 212 Poplar Branch Road, Poplar Branch, NC, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at her residence. Born in Bronx, NY she was the daughter of William Edwin Scherb of Yonkers, NY and the late Lillian Schellhammer Scherb. She was a homemaker. Besides her father she is survived by two sons, Richard Idec and Charles Fletcher Scherb both of Elizabeth City, NC; a sister, Susan Scherb Brown of PoplarBranch, NC; three brothers, John Alan Scherb of Colonial Heights, VA, William E Scherb and Robert Scherb both of San Diego, CA and two grandchildren.~~~~~~~
