Margurete Eleanor Bagby, oldest daughter of Roy and Elsie Bagby, was born at Langley, Kansas 28 April 1911 and passed away to her heavenly home at the Mart Babgy home in Langley, Sunday morning 08 August 1920 at the age of nine years, three months and eleven days. Her illness was short, being a severe attack of rheumatism of the heart. Marguerite was a beautiful, loving and devoted child. In the midst of life we are in death. She seemed too precious a flower to linger longer on earth. The loving heavenly Father thought best to transplant this little bud in his heavenly garden that it might unfold its petals and open into a beautiful flower, that her fragrance might eternally make heaven richer. She has just gone on to await and help to welcome home all who will surrender their lives to Him and live under the atoning blood. Funeral services were held at the Langley Wesleyan Methodist church Monday 09 August at 10 o'clock conducted by the pastor. Rev. Funk, of the M.E. church assisted him. Interment in the Langley cemetery. She leaves to mourn, father, mother, two brothers and one sister, besides other relatives and her schoolmates.
The parents wish to thank those who rendered assistance in their hour of sorrow. They appreciate the beautiful flower offerings and the kindness shown them.
