George "Buge" Perkins
Funeral services for George "Buge" Perkins, 90, of Martha were held Monday, December 15, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Chapel in Carnegie with Rev. Arthur Blount officiating.
George was born February 22, 1913 in Cheyenne to James Brooks and Dellar (Lawrence) Perkins and died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at his home.
He married Pearline Gandy on February 17, 1940 in Purcell. He lived most of his life in Carnegie and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie.
He is survived by his wife, Pearline of the home; one son, Roscoe Perkins and wife, Elizabeth of Wichita Falls, Texas; one daughter, LaVerne Muller and husband, Phillip of Altus; four grandchildren, Matt Muller, Melissa Hurst, Jason Perkins and Amy Perkins; six great grandchildren; one brother Willey Perkins of Eufaula; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Tony, Monroe, Harley and Clinton; three sisters, Maudie Gandy, Oma Gandy and Mayburn Timmons.
Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher-hackney Funeral Home in Carnegie.
