Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Faye was born March 28, 1919 in Osgood, MO, the daughter of Joe Oscar and Anna Agnes Alice (Hennen) Ralls. She married Roderick Bagwell on September 25, 1937.
Faye and her husband, Roderick, owned a farm in Galt, MO and they owned a general store in Osgood, MO before moving to Trenton, MO. They also owned a flower and gift shop in Gower, MO, providing flowers and cakes for weddings and floral arrangements for funerals. In Harrisonville, Faye worked for Van's Flowers, then began selling insurance for AFLAC and later for Christian Fidelity until her retirement in 2005.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roderick on March 29, 1996, one grandson and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Judith Faye Hambrick, Midland, TX; a son, James Gayle Bagwell, Lamesa, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
