Attack Is Fatal to Willard O. Anderson
Retired President of Box and Crate Firm Stricken At Home Here.
Willard O. Anderson, 66 years old, died at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning of a heart attack at his home 2033 Bonnycastle Avenue. Dr. F. S. Clark, 1706 Bardstown Road, was called but arrived too late to aid the stricken man.
Mr. Anderson was a native of Henderson, Kentucky, and operated the Henderson Box and Crate Company there until he moved to Louisville twenty years ago. He had been president of the American Box and Crate Company, which he organized here, until his retirement five years ago. Mrs. Josephine Anderson, his wife, was visiting relatives in Evansville, Ind., when her husband died.
Mr. Anderson also is survivied by three daughters, Mrs. E. J. Backer, Mrs. Laurence Gilliam, of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. John W. Geibel, of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Thomas Anderson of Troy, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. M. C. Day, also of Troy, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
