MRS. E. A. BALDWIN IS DEAD
Mrs. Mary Berry has received a letter from Mrs. Sally Baldwin, of Sattle, Washington, announcing the death of Mrs. E. A. Baldwin, on November 2nd. The letter follows:
Seattle, Wash., November 16, 1910
Dear Mrs. Berry.
I know you will be grieved to hear of the death of your old friend, Mrs. Elizabeth Baldwin, Mr. Baldwin's stepmother, who passed away Nov. 2, at 8 o'clock in the evening.
After coming to our home she seemed to enjoy fairly comfortable health, of course she was always weak--but she was always cheerful and seemingly happy, but we knew her heart was in Morgantown where all of her dear friends were. We felt that you more than anyone else would feel the loss of her, as you had been with her and cared for her, although all of her friends in Morgantown had stood by her and comforted her in her illness.
Her body was cremated and her ashes sent to Louisville to be buried beside her husband and daughter who are buried there.
She slept her life away, going to sleep Sunday and sleeping until Wednesday evening. She passed away without a struggle into the land of no more want or pain. You will notify all friends.
With love I remain
Elizabeth was previously married to a man by the last nae of Matthews.
She was cremated and her ashes were interred in the cemetery
