Willie Thomas Arnett, 62, of Cordele died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 14, 2013 in Dorough Cemetery at Midway.
Mr. Arnett, a native of Cleveland, is the son of Willie D. Arnett and the late Katie Mae Reddish Arnett. He was a correctional officer for the State of Georgia at the Lee County Correctional Institution. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Albany, Georgia and a member of the Baptist faith.
In additional to his father, surviving is his wife: H. Elaine Arnett of Cordele; his sons: George Arnett of Roswell, Ga. and Christopher Arnett, and his wife Amanda, of Chatsworth, Ga.; his daughters: Suzanne Arnett of North Augusta, S.C., Kimberly Davis and her husband Chanaan of Moultrie, Katie Torrez of Dalton and Patricia Arnett of Dalton,Ga.; his grandchildren: Jessica Chambers, Drue Umphurs, Dekota Arnett and Ashley Ethridge; his sisters-in-law: Donna Smith of Americus and Carol Gosa, and her husband Randy, of Smithville; his nephews: Jason Arnett and David Arnett; and several cousins.
